Peter Jary has worked his magic again!! Featured here is our Anhydrite Hopper Wagon Complete with tarpaulin.

Hello and Welcome to First Class Kits

A superior range of O Gauge (7mm) Brass Etch BR Wagon Kits.
The kits will be presented in flat pack form (with a few exceptions that will not fit in the box, i.e. may include resin containers etc..   they will have their own special boxes). Each Kit will contain a good quality brass etch a mixture of lost wax brass  and white metal castings.  It is my intension to expand the Loss Wax Brass parts supplied with the kits.  The wheels included are manufactured to a high standard.   Made from steel, precision turned with a resin centre insulated bush and finished in chemi black.   They are purpose made to fit the high specification ball bearings packed in the kit.  It is my intention to supply sprung buffers in all the kits. The buffer heads will be precision turned steel and the buffer stocks will be white metal Some of the kits will have different sizes of brass or nickel silver wire included.  All the kits will have sprung couplings with hooks and instanters.
The kit will also come with the appropriate industrial made transfers.  The instructions for the kit will come in written format and there will be a back up on this website free to download,.  So as you can see Nearly Everything in the box bar the paint.

Now for the big question how much will they cost.   I intend to keep the price down by low overheads and my experience in procurement. Where possible I have tried to use British suppliers.  It is very obvious now that we have a flood of Ready to run wagons on the market coming from some very big players I have to be competitive. On the plus side First Class Kits kits are designed to give the modeller plenty of enjoyment but with a challenge. The satisfaction of building something to be proud of in detail and accuracy.  After all there is a certain amount of satisfaction in saying, I built that!   The finished model will have realistic weight and real inertia due to the free running ball bearings.   It will also have many working parts to copy the real thing. I have over thirty wagon kits to release over the next few years.

So happy modelling to you all.
